About the Proactive Manage Plan
Epic's Proactive Manage plan includes all of the monitoring and preventative maintenance
components of the Proactive Prevent plan and also adds the concept of "unlimited
remote support". Unlimited remote support gives you instant access to the engineers
at Epic's Help Desk and Network Operations Center. You can call as often as needed
for repair, software installation, configuration assistance or other support questions
on your covered systems.
With Proactive Manage, we should be able to close up to 85 percent of your day-to-day
support requests remotely. That's right; the majority of the time, we can remotely
access your systems and solve your problem without having to roll a truck. Under
Proactive Manage, we can respond to your support requests almost instantly and our
goal is to be already working on solving the problem BEFORE you call. Should you
require onsite support, we can work with one of your employees to be our hands or
we can roll a truck on a time and material basis or debit an option block of prepaid
hours.
In addition, with Proactive Manage, we also provide IT planning and procurement
assistance services for no additional charge. We will assign a Technology Manager
to your account who will work with you on an annual basis to develop a technology
plan and then to help you shop the Internet for the best prices for the hardware
and software needed to fulfill that plan. With Proactive Manage you receive all
of the core functions of an IT department for a fixed, manageable cost.
