The IronClad Appliance
The IronClad Appliance serves as the backup software agent, local backup restoration
center, and as a disaster recovery "virtual server" all in one. The appliance is
sized to match your needs and is completely scalable so you cannot outgrow the service.
Also, there are no capital costs for the IronClad Appliance because we provide it
as a standard part of our services.
Advanced Application Support
Advanced Application Support supports "open files" and advanced applications such
as SQL databases or Microsoft Exchange.
Supported Operating Systems
IronClad presently supports the Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003, and 2008 Server families
of operating systems. Additional operating systems including desktop platforms will
be coming shortly.
Required Bandwidth
512K upstream or greater Internet service proportional to data volume (only if using
offsite backup). Primarily needed at night during offsite backup upload. Very minimal
bandwidth used on a 24x7 basis to monitor the IronClad appliance.
