Our History
Epic Technologies was founded in 1996 as a true “garage” business to build computers
for family and friends. Out of these humble beginnings, we forged the heart of a
company focused on delivering technology and networking solutions to small and medium
sized businesses. By 1999, we were growing rapidly and honing our focus on the advanced
data networking and security needs of businesses. From 2000-2003, Epic grew revenues
and clients by almost 50 percent annually and expanded across the Southeastern United
States. In October of 2003, CRN Magazine named Epic the 14th fastest growing technology
reseller in the country. Also in 2003, Epic launched its Telecom Services Division
to focus on high-end voice over IP solutions.
Current State
Epic's Professional Services Division currently services more than 450 organizations
across the country. Continuing a legacy of aggressive growth into new markets, we
have a strategic plan that calls for deepening our client base in data and telephony
services for a few key vertical markets, namely, banking, healthcare, and manufacturing.
At the same time, our National Services Division now is composed of more than 600
engineers across the entire United States and its territories such as Puerto Rico,
and Guam. With the recent launch of Epic's Proactive Assurance, clients across the
nation are better able to manage their technology allowing problems to be solved
even before they occur.
Our Future
Epic's future is brighter than ever. As we continue to aggressively grow our client
and revenue base each year, we have remained focused on our strategic plan. Our
passion is to help clients realize the benefits of technology by driving revenue,
lowering costs, or improving customer service. As we grow across the country, we
remain committed to earning the trust of our clients by delivering reliable solutions
from credible experts.
